Stain removal

Items needed

• steam iron
• Ammonia
  

  mix 50% ammonia with 50% hot water

• clean white towels
• a spray bottle
  

  spray solution onto stained area

Mix 1 part ammonia to 1 part hot water in spray bottle. (Note: Be careful with ammonia fumes when mixing and steaming, stay out of the steam and try not to inhale. Wear a mask and goggles if you are sensitive). Always test on a piece of carpet first that is hidden , or a offcut of the same carpet.

1. spray the area that has staining with the mixture
2. lay the folded towel over the area
3. place the iron on the towel on steam setting hold until steam has penetrated the carpet
   

   hold iron on cloth until steam penetrates, keep checking for stain transfer

4. remove the towel and check for transfer , use another until stain is removed and there is no more transfer on the towel
5. flush the whole area with a vax , bissel to remove residue

flush the area using plain water to remove all residue
